WHICH THREE CELEBRITIES/HISTORICAL FIGURES WOULD YOU YOU ADD TO YOUR DINNER GUEST LIST?
My dinner would include three of my favorite authors: David Sedaris, Jen Lancaster and Chelsea Handler. Since all three write memoirs, their views on…well, everything would be more entertaining than your average dinner guest. David could tell the tales of growing up in Raleigh, then moving to New York and then Paris. Jen could share stories from her Jenaissance. (Go to www.jennsylvania.com for an explanation.) Chelsea would obviously be in charge of Hollywood gossip. It would be the most hilariously irreverent night ever.

WOULD YOU RATHER BE INVISIBLE OR BE ABLE TO READ MINDS?
I’d rather be invisible than read minds. Invisibility would allow me to go wherever I wanted without consequences. I would see and hear things that I probably shouldn’t. I could avoid people I didn’t want to see. It would be an amazing tool in times of need or nosiness. Reading minds, on the other hand, is a scary power. Would you really want to know what other people are thinking?!

A Little Less Talk

Has our reliance on technology changed the way we behave in public? Because of my excessive phone use, I have to constantly remind myself to mind my manners when it comes to my phone.
