Initial product failures – products that are dead on arrival – leave terrible impressions on customers. Furthermore, these failures can cause a chain reaction of subsequent issues as the customer’s own product delivery or project schedule is delayed until a replacement can be received. Reducing the chances of shipping a DOA product to a customer depends on many things including the product, the end application and the intended operating environment.
Annoucing our new SeaLINK+485-DB9, a new single-port USB to RS-485 serial adapter that utilizes Sealevel’s expertise in military-grade designs by incorporating a ruggedized, overmolded enclosure. The SeaLINK+485-DB9 offers fast, reliable serial communication for even the toughest environments, including factory floor, mobile, and outdoor applications.

Sealevel extends our deepest sympathies to those affected by the tsunami and earthquakes on March 11, 2011. Sealevel Systems, Inc. announces the expansion of the SeaI/O family of data acquisition devices with the new SeaI/O-570 multifunction module. Offering a powerful combination of analog and digital I/O, SeaI/O-570 modules are perfect for a wide variety of applications including process control, data acquisition, broadcast communications and remote environmental monitoring.
Our relationship with Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Excellence (CU-ICAR) has been extremely beneficial for conducting testing for electromagnetic interference (EMI) to ensure products will not interfere with other equipment in use nearby. The advanced, highly accurate instruments available through CU-ICAR allow this testing to be done quickly to support rapid product development.
A new, enhanced version of Sealevel’s SeaLINK software, supporting the Sealevel family of Ethernet to serial devices, has been released. The SeaLINK V5 driver for Microsoft Windows has been rewritten from the ground up to provide increased throughput, improved security features, additional diagnostic capabilities, and support for new SeaLINK serial devices launching this year.
Things have changed quite a bit at our Liberty campus over the past 12 months. Since we house our design, sales, support and manufacturing operations under one roof, we were excited to see our workspaces grow as our warehouse area underwent an expansion.
Every application is different, and certain applications need a product to be customized to fit particular needs, or even designed from the ground up in some cases.
