Wireless Modbus Gateway

The Basics: The Wireless Modbus Gateway will provide wireless Ethernet Modbus TCP to RS-485 communication to SeaI/O modules.

A Few Planned Features

  • RS-485 interface
  • DIN Rail mounting option
  • Voltage input range
  • Screw terminal power input and RS-485 connections
  • Software-configurable Modbus address, where applicable
  • Best-in-class RS-485 interface transient protection

    What about making it sealed for outdoor use?

    That’s a great idea, Dave. Generally we recommend an IP-rated enclosure or pole-mounted box, depending on your specific application.

    Probably a big change in scope, but could you also add a USB port? Would be great to be able to add USB to ??? adaptors to interface with other protocols. When is the release date for this? I could use one today…
