Sealevel Collects Items for Military

This week we will be working with Liberty United Methodist Church to collect items for the men and women serving in the military. If you are in the Liberty area and would like to contribute, the following items can be dropped off at Sealevel anytime before noon on Friday, June 10. If you’re not in the area, we encourage you to start your own drive to show your appreciation for those serving our country.

Items needed:

  • Baby Wipes
  • Balloons (These are placed over the ends of weapons, so they can fire as needed without getting sand in their weapons.)
  • Batteries for CD players and flashlights
  • Beef Jerky/Slim Jims
  • Books
  • Camouflage bandanas
  • Canned fruit (pop-top)
  • Candy (hard candies, no chocolate)
  • Cereal (small boxes)
  • Chips (in cans)
  • Comics from Sunday paper
  • Condiment packets from fast food restaurants
  • Cookies (store bought, not homemade)
  • Crackers
  • Crossword puzzle books
  • Current magazines or newspapers
  • Dental floss
  • Deodorant
  • Disposable razors
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Footballs
  • Frisbees
  • Gold Bond body powder and foot powder
  • Gum
  • Instant coffee
  • Lip balm with UV35 sunscreen
  • Lotion
  • Neck coolers
  • Pain reliever
  • Paper/Pens/Envelopes
  • Playing cards
  • Powdered drinks
  • Pudding in tubes
  • Q-tips
  • Shampoo
  • Shoe support insoles
  • Soap/antibacterial soap
  • Small games
  • Socks (black or green)

  • Sunscreen (UV35 or higher)
