Message From The President of Sealevel Systems, Inc.
As 2002 comes to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers and to let you know a little more about how we are doing and where we are headed.

For everyone in the electronics industry, it goes without saying that 2002 was indeed a challenge. I am happy to say that Sealevel had another successful year, our 16th, despite the economic environment. In 2002, we positioned ourselves well for the future by dramatically growing our product line with the introduction of over 25 new serial and digital I/O products. We improved our ability to sell and service our customer base by adding to our direct sales staff, increasing our internal marketing capabilities, and improving our organizational infrastructure. Also, I am very happy to say, as of last month Sealevel is now ISO-9001 certified!

In 2003, Sealevel will continue to aggressively earn your business by continuing to introduce innovative I/O products backed by the best technical support, and our unmatched Lifetime Warranty. We will also continue to meet the custom requirements you may have – over 30% of our sales in 2002 were for custom products. Please let us know how Sealevel can help you.

Have a safe and happy holiday season!

President and CEO

New! One Port USB to RS-232 Adapter with DB9 connector
Sealevel’s newest addition to our USB to serial product line, the SeaLINK+232-DB9, is the easiest way to provide USB connectivity to legacy or non-USB compliant devices. SeaLINK adapters support standard PC data rates up to 460K bps to provide you with the horsepower your serial I/O applications require. Simply connect the SeaLINK adapter to your USB port and the device is immediately recognized by the system as a standard COM port.

New! Sealevel’s SeaMAC V4 Synchronous Driver Supports Wide Range of Protocols
Furthering our commitment to provide the best software support for our hardware, Sealevel has introduced our latest version of SeaMAC synchronous software driver: SeaMAC V4.

Synchronous communications methods include SDLC, HDLC, and BiSync. Another useful protocol supported by SeaMAC V4 is raw mode (also known as “bit shifter” mode). In this mode, data is transferred without a fixed format or character framing, requiring the application calling the driver to manipulate the data to create meaningful messages. Various applications requiring high-speed communication benefit from raw mode including Doppler radar and satellite imagery.

SeaMAC V4 is compatible with the 5102 and 5103 PCI bus cards and the 3612 PCMCIA synchronous adapter. Soon this functionality will be extended to other synchronous products. For additional technical information on synchronous communication go to:
