New! Low Profile PCI Bus RS-232/422/485 Synchronous Serial Interface
Sealevel recently introduced the ACB-Ultra.LPCI, a Low Profile PCI bus RS-232/422/485 synchronous serial interface. Boasting data rates up to 10M bps, the ACB-Ultra.LPCI is an ideal solution for satellite, radar, banking, and other specialized high-speed synchronous applications. Based on the Zilog™ Z16C32 IUSC, the board includes an on-board DMA controller to eliminate bus bandwidth constraints and increase throughput.

The ACB-Ultra.LPCI meets the requirements for the MD1 Low Profile specification and is Universal Bus (3.3V and 5V) compatible. Software support, critical for successful synchronous communication implementation, is provided through Sealevel’s SeaMAC v4.1 driver. SeaMAC supports a variety of protocols under Windows 2000/XP including HDLC/SDLC, Bi-Sync/Monosync, and Raw (bit-shifter). Linux support is also available, and test/diagnostic software is included to make installation and troubleshooting easy.

New! Five Port Ethernet Switch Offers High Reliability and Deterministic Results

The Etherswitch-5, item number 4510, is designed to perform reliably in even the most severe conditions. The unit is capable of operating in temperature extremes ranging from -40°C to +85°C and is housed in a rugged DIN rail compatible enclosure. Five 10/100BaseT ports allow network expansion with deterministic results not possible with Ethernet hub devices. For more information please visit:

The Etherswitch-5 is a useful accessory for connecting virtual serial ports to your network via SeaLINK serial servers. SeaLINK server products are available in 1, 4, and 8 port models and offer RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 connectivity. For more info please go to:

USB I/O Made Easy
USB (Universal Serial Bus) has become the pervasive method of attaching peripherals to personal computers. USB is also proving to be useful outside the home/office environment. Sealevel manufactures a wide range of serial and digital I/O products offering industrial communication and control features usually found on PCI bus boards.

Available in 1, 2, 4, and 8 port models, SeaLINK products are the easiest way to communicate with RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 devices via USB. Simply connect to your USB port and access the serial ports as standard COM ports.

Six models of SeaLINK USB to digital I/O devices are available to interface to common input/output signals. Whether you need to directly control or monitor low voltage/low current I/O or interface to a solid-state relay rack, Sealevel offers a solution. SeaI/O driver software is included along with helpful samples and utilities to simplify implementation.
