The 2802-TB8 kit includes eight TB34 terminal blocks that simplify RS-422 and RS-485 field wiring. Each terminal block adapter includes a DB9 female connector and five screw terminals.
The SeaLINK® 2802 USB serial I/O adapter provides eight RS-422 or RS-485 serial ports for USB connectivity to legacy or non-USB compliant devices.
Sealevel's SeaCOM USB software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. After installing the software, simply connect the 2802 serial interface adapter to your USB port. The device is immediately recognized by the system. Now your non-USB peripherals can have the same connection simplicity and ease of use as USB aware peripherals.
The 2802 integrates Sealevel's SeaLATCH locking USB port, which is fully compatible with standard USB cables. When used with the included USB cable with a SeaLATCH USB type B connector, the metal thumbscrew provides a secure connection to the device and prevents accidental cable disconnection.
