The 5104S PCI serial interface provides one synchronous serial port configurable for RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, RS-530, RS-530A, or V.35. The board is capable of data rates to 10M bps and utilizes a Z16C32 Integrated Universal Serial Controller (IUSC) with built-in DMA controller and 32-byte FIFO buffer.
The 5104S is Universal Bus (3.3V and 5V) compatible and ships with the standard size PCI bracket to allow installation in a full size PCI slot. If you have a Low Profile PCI slot order the 5104.
