The 7104S PCI serial interface provides one RS-232 serial port capable of data rates to 460.8K bps. The board utilizes a 16C850 UART to provide 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs for maximum reliability in data intensive applications. The 7104S implements all modem control signals and is Universal Bus (3.3V and 5V) compatible. The 7104S ships with a standard size PCI bracket to allow installation in a full size PCI slot.
