The POE-SWTC5 is a 5-port, unmanaged industrial Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch that offers five high-speed, auto-sensing 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports. The embedded 4-port PoE injector function provides 15.4W @ 48VDC to each downstream port. The PoE switch is ideal for powering Sealevel eI/O Ethernet digital I/O modules over a single Ethernet cable, which eliminates the need for extra power supplies or additional cabling.
The POE-SWTC5 is classified as PoE power source equipment (PSE) and is fully compatible with PoE (IEEE 802.3af compliant) powered devices. The PoE switch is powered from your 48VDC source or choose a power supply option from the Accessories tab. For increased reliability, the POE-SWTC5 supports redundant power input via a removable terminal block.
Ready for DIN rail mounting, the PoE switch is housed in a compact aluminum IP30 rated enclosure that snaps onto 35mm DIN rail. Brackets are included for wall mounting or place the PoE switch on a table or shelf. With no software to install or configure, simply plug in your PoE-powered and self-powered Ethernet devices and your PoE network is ready to use.
