With industrial and OEM applications increasingly adding USB devices, the need for more USB ports becomes a necessity. Sealevel offers the HUB4P, a powered USB 2.0 4-port hub with SeaLATCH locking USB connectors. The hub is perfect for expanding industrial computing platforms with locking USB ports.

The HUB4P integrates patent-pending SeaLATCH USB ports, which are fully compatible with standard USB cables. When used with the included USB cable with a SeaLATCH USB type B connector, the metal thumbscrew provides a secure connection to the device and prevents accidental cable disconnection. The hub's four SeaLATCH USB type A connectors can secure downstream USB peripherals to the hub in the same way. The hub is USB 2.0 compliant, providing a full 480M bps data rate to the host, and is backwards compatible with USB 1.1 and 1.0 devices. The HUB4P includes a wall-mount AC adapter that supplies a full 500mA to each attached USB peripheral. The power supply outputs 5VDC @ 2.4A and has a locking DC connector to prevent accidental removal of the power cable.

Supported in Windows, Linux, and other USB aware operating systems, the HUB4P requires no separate drivers and is easy to install. Simply provide power to the hub using the included power supply, plug the hub into an available USB port with the included cable, and the hub is automatically recognized.

The HUB4P is housed in a rugged, attractive plastic enclosure ideal for mounting on walls, under counters, or inside panels. DIN rail clips are available as an option. Standard operating temperature range is 0C to 70C and extended temperature range (-40C to +85C) is optional.
