The 470M-QS RS-485 Modbus RTU interface kit provides everything necessary to get started with Sealevel SeaI/O RS-485 communications. Simply install the 7107 into the host computer and attach +12V power from the host power supply to the onboard connector. The supplied power is passed through to pin 9 of the board's connector. This allows easy connection to the SeaI/O 470M module using the included adapter and cabling. The 470M-QS includes:

• 470M - RS-485 Modbus RTU interface to 16 A/D, 2 D/A, 8 24V outputs, and 8 isolated inputs. The module provides eight differential or 16 single-ended 12-bit inputs and two 12-bit D/A output channels. Additionally, the SeaI/O-470M module provides eight optically isolated inputs and eight open collector outputs, ideal for driving 24V devices commonly found in industrial environments. Field wiring connections are simplified by the included removable screw terminals.
• 7107 - Low Profile PCI serial interface board with one serial port configurable for RS-422 or RS-485, and an onboard connector that routes power from the host internal supply through pin 9 on the DB-9M connector. A standard size PCI bracket is included for installing the 7107 into a standard size PCI slot.
• DB112 - DB9F to RJ45 modular adapter that provides RS-485 and power lines compatible with SeaI/O M-series modules.
• CA247 - 10' CAT5 patch cable for attaching SeaI/O modules to the host computer.
