The 3089 ISA serial interface provides the PC with two RS-422, RS-485 Asynchronous links to data collection and other devices. Individually selectable addresses and extended "AT" interrupts allow for seamless integration. The 3089 appears to the host system as a standard COM: port requiring no special drivers or additional software. For user's that require custom baud rates, isochronous communications, or 9-bit protocol, the 3089 ISA serial interface is available with the Oxford 16C950 UART, part number 3089-SN.
