Sealevel Systems, Inc. is a mature communications hardware manufacturer providing innovative electronic solutions to other businesses since 1986. The company is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to grow the company’s sales of a new audio-centric product line through tenacious prospecting and lead-development. This is a unique opportunity for a very driven, self-starting sales professional who wants to be a part of a growing, vibrant technology company expanding into new markets.

The position will report to the Director of Marketing

- Have previous B2B sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Outbound sales phone hunter, capable of high volume of prospecting and follow-up calls
- Demonstrate excellence in adaptability and a proven “self-starter” mentality
- Possess the ability to interact with other departments within the organization
- Be honest, friendly, and have a trustworthy personality
- Be energetic and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities
Objectives & Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect for new business opportunities through warm leads and cold calls
- Use a consultative sales approach to move prospects through the sales funnel process to close
- Follow-up on all sales leads to conclusion (including leads obtained via social media channels)
- Report frequently on sales activity
- Provide periodic summary of opportunities and sales forecast
- Enter orders as required
- Document all communications with customers in the company’s CRM database
Previous Experience
Previous Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
