Sealevel Systems, Inc. is a mature communications hardware manufacturer providing innovative electronic solutions to other businesses since 1986. The company is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to grow the company’s sales of a new audio-centric product line through tenacious prospecting and lead-development. This is a unique opportunity for a very driven, self-starting sales professional who wants to be a part of a growing, vibrant technology company expanding into new markets.

Reporting Relationship

The position will report to the Director of Marketing.


 The objective of the compensation structure is to attract an individual who is resourceful and expects to be compensated for exceptional performance.

  • Base Salary plus bonus based on performance


  • Have previous B2B sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment


  • Outbound sales phone hunter, capable of high volume of prospecting and follow-up calls
  • Demonstrate excellence in adaptability and a proven “self-starter” mentality
  • Possess the ability to interact with other departments within the organization
  • Be honest, friendly, and have a trustworthy personality
  • Be energetic and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities

Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities through warm leads and cold calls
  • Use a consultative sales approach to move prospects through the sales funnel process to close
  • Follow-up on all sales leads to conclusion (including leads obtained via social media channels)
  • Report frequently on sales activity
  • Provide periodic summary of opportunities and sales forecast
  • Enter orders as required
  • Document all communications with customers in the company’s CRM database

Previous Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
