Reporting Relationship
The position will report to the Vice President of Engineering.

Compensation
The objective of the compensation structure is to attract an individual who is detailed oriented and is interested in a challenging opportunity with a growing company.

  • Base Salary – Commensurate with experience and earnings history

Objectives & Responsibilities

The IT Coordinator is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks and also cooperating with outside IT vendors for any upgrades and major support that is needed. He/she is also responsible for the management of company data in Microsoft SharePoint. The IT Coordinator is expected to keep up to date on the latest in corporate software and hardware to help the company maintain the advantage provided by the effective use of technology.

The following are responsibilities that will be required of the IT Coordinator on a day to day basis at the company.

  • Provide technical support for computer systems at Sealevel Systems
  • Maintain and provide technical support for Sealevel Cloud Infrastructure
  • Be an active member of the Sealevel Cloud computing team
  • Help with the installation and integration of new and upgraded software assets
  • Maintain and service company equipment (i.e. UPSs, Servers, Desktop PCs, etc.)
  • Train users when necessary on computer systems, software or hardware
  • Continually improve the efficiency of company software systems
  • Design and code applications with Visual Studio for the improvement of company processes and the increased efficiency of company product production
  • Recommend new purchased solutions as required
  • Document the inventory and layouts of the current IT system and continually improve it
  • Maintain documentation of network layout
  • Maintain important user manuals and IT documentation
  • Maintain and support the company’s SharePoint site and assist users with any issues
  • Provide technical support for the company’s accounting/ERP system
  • Create any reports that are required for accurate data reporting
  • Maintain user permissions and data
  • Maintain and update company’s customer and sales data in Salesforce
  • Liaison with outside IT vendors for hardware and software upgrades and major support

Previous Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, legally authorized to work in the US
  • Experienced programming with C#, HTML, JAVA, and SQL
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and AWS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related degree
  • Ability to work independently
  • Understand the basics of Windows and Linux operating system administration
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software
  • Have good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in researching and evaluating company IT solutions
