Overview

Sealevel Systems is seeking a Marketing Specialist to assist the Director of Marketing with projects in support of our audiences and overall strategy:

  • Be an integral part of our marketing staff and actively contribute ideas across the organization
  • Demonstrate a willingness and aptitude for learning and utilizing new tools to further department and company goals
  • Implement marketing tactics that support the overall marketing strategy and vision
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and on brand
  • Create and distribute internal and external communications and collateral materials
  • Execute tradeshow plans, manage industry relationships, and manage social media
  • Complete all tasks, as assigned or initiated, with clear analysis of audience and purpose
  • Amplify and manage the Sealevel Systems “brand voice”

Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all activities related to horizontal and industry-specific tradeshows:
    •  Scheduling
    • Logistics
    • Collateral and promotional materials
    • Identify prospects and ideas for targeting
    • Reporting
  • Execute and refine social media strategy:
    • Post creation including on-brand, engaging graphics
    • Individualize research for strategic keywords and hashtags
    • Following key accounts and sharing as appropriate
    • Reporting
  • Serve as key point of contact for all association memberships and building those relationships:
    • Regular, consistent updates of all profile and/or product information
    • Attendance at meetings as required
    • Awareness of all programs to ensure we are taking advantage of available benefits
    • Pitching content ideas as appropriate alongside other members of the marketing team
  • Assist with internal communications to grow employee awareness:
    • Schedule, plan, and assist with execution of  company events, including lunch and learn-style events, product launches, charity events, and celebrations
    • Create and/or assist with creation of graphics for internal applications
    • Create and deploy a series of emails for ongoing employee edification
  • Make recommendations for driving traffic and delivering company KPIs
  • Create cross-functional multi-purpose marketing content and materials
  • Plan, proof, and edit content with clear purpose in mind
  • Actively contribute to meetings and resulting actions

Previous Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and three years of relevant experience
  • Experience using MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience developing and deploying content for LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Experience with tradeshow exhibition or event execution

Preferred

  • Direct use and application of HubSpot software
  • Direct use and application of social media management software
