Sealevel uses a four-digit numbering system. The first digit defines the bus interface and product category. The rest of the characters define the port count or functionality and vary by product family. The following list illustrates the major product categories. Follow the links to the category pages where you can generally identify your product by the photo shown:

SeaI/O data acquisition modules use a three-digit part number – digital I/O modules begins with a "4" or "5"; serial I/O modules start with a "6"; and accessory modules (e.g., isolated hubs) start with a "2". The three digits are followed by a letter that defines the host interface connection that is detailed below:

  • E – Ethernet (Modbus TCP) interface
  • M – RS-485 (Modbus RTU) interface
  • S – RS-232 (Modbus RTU) interface
  • U – USB (Modbus RTU) interface
  • W – Wireless 802.11b/g (Modbus TCP) interface
  • N – Expansion modules (connect to other SeaI/O modules via pass-through connectors for local or remote I/O expansion)

This list is not all-inclusive. Please contact technical support at 864-843-4343 or support@sealevel.com for further assistance.
