WHAT WOULD YOUR CB RADIO HANDLE BE?
Many years ago when CB radios were more popular, I bought one. I started off with a single channel portable “Walkie Talkie”. Since I was the only one around at the time with only one channel, I was given quickly the handle “Lone Star”.

WOULD YOU RATHER BE INVISIBLE OR BE ABLE TO READ MINDS?
I think being invisible would be good except you would constantly have to worry about people running into you. It would also be hard slipping up on someone because you would still have to open the door or window to get in. Therefore, if I could selectively turn the “reading minds” ability on when you wanted to, I think that would be much more fun and useful.

The Gadget I Can’t Live Without

When I started to write this, I thought it was obvious that the gadget I couldn’t live without would be my cell phone. While mine is about as far from a “smart” phone as you can get, I use it as a watch, alarm clock, telephone book, reminders, text messages and sometimes even as a phone. It occurred to me that what I really couldn’t live without is one of the oldest electronic “gadgets” around….

The Man Behind the Drivers

Twenty-five years ago doesn’t seem that long when you are 61. A lot has changed in that time. My family has grown to include two kids and two grandchildren. I left a textile monitoring company and eventually found my way to Sealevel. Since starting there, I have been responsible for just about every Windows device driver we provide with our cards. Sealevel has been a very interesting place to work.

Burning Nova

Back in the mid-60’s, I joined a local band. Getting together to practice and play were both things I really loved. Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Cream and others changed the way I looked at music. I really enjoyed that time of my life where I was involved with bands. To see the energy and creativity that my son and his band mates put into Burning Nova brings back so many good memories.
