Tech Lowdown
How do I test or simulate Digital I/O hardware?
Sealevel developed the TA01 Relay Rack Simulation Module to replicate the functionality and load characteristics of an industry-standard 24-channel relay rack. By simulating hardware operation and supplying direct live feedback, the TA01 verifies application logic in a system prior to deployment with live hardware. Each channel of the three (8-bit) ports can be configured to simulate an input or output device. The TA01 simulates an energized relay by illuminating a designated LED. The TA01 simulates input status changes with three (8 position) dip switches. It attaches directly to Sealevel 24, 48, or 96 Channel TTL Digital I/O Products via an industry standard 50-Pin IDC header.
