Multi-Standard PC/104+ Board for Avionics Interfaces Including MIL-STD-1553, H009, WB-194, ARINC 429, Digital and Avionics Discrete I/Os, and RS-485 Applications
The PC/104+ multi-standard tester board contains two dual-redundant channels of MIL-STD-1553 communication. The board is compatible with MIL-STD-1553B and MIL-STD-1760. Each channel can be configured independently to work with H009 and WB-194 in conjunction with MIL-STD-1553. Other protocols, like French DigiBus, are also available upon request.
The board is based on proven MIL-STD-1553, H009 and WB-194 (WMUX) IP cores and transceivers. Prior to shipment, the board can be programmed to support various configurations and protocols using the exact same hardware.
The PC/104+ board includes ARINC-429 channels (8 transmit and 16 receive channels). The board also includes four RS-485 ports for serial communication and testing.
The PC/104+ board can be used for onboard avionics systems and for lab testing equipment. The standard interface board is software-compatible with DDC® Enhanced Mini-ACE® components and architecture, enabling fast and easy integration with existing or new systems. The tester version includes capabilities such as RT Simulation, Multi-RT, Error Injection and more.
This utility program manages the simulation of a MIL-STD-1553 bus by creating messages and frames, controlling timing and rates of messages, selecting active busses and active Remote Terminals and re-transmitting pre-recorded bus data.
This utility program monitors the MIL-STD-1553 bus, records bus data into files, re-plays the recorded data in simulation or onto the real bus, enables filters and triggers for recording and re-playing bus data. This program allows the user to track and follow bus messages, errors and evaluate any behavior.
This diagnostic utility manages a batch-based simulation of the MIL-STD-1553 and RS-485 buses by reading a command file that contains communication information (messages, frames, timing, rates, active busses, active Remote Terminals, etc.) and operates accordingly.
Software programmers should use this DLL file if they want to create their own application or GUI. More information can be found in the user manual.
