What is the UKCA marking and are Sealevel’s products UKCA certified?

Figure 1. UKCA Marking

The UKCA marking is the conformity marking used to indicate that a product meets all the applicable requirements to products being placed on the market in the UK. The marking applies to most products and product categories for which a CE marking can be used.

Initially, the CE mark was accepted as an alternative until 2022. In 2023, after several extensions of the grace period, the UK government extended recognition of goods that meet the requirements for CE marking indefinitely. Essentially, other than a few narrow use cases, a CE-certified product meets all the requirements for entrance into the UK market. By this definition, all Sealevel CE-certified products are qualified for purchase within the UK.

See “Major Certification and Product Marks Explained,” article for more information about the CE marking.
