Overview
The leading dispatch console provider creates solutions that are deployed worldwide for government installations, field operations, and public safety applications. These dispatch consoles are used for emergency call-taking, fire station alerting, guard post communications, and other mission-critical information sharing.
The company contracted Sealevel to build the next generation of workstations with a new design to replace their traditional, permanent workstations and provide an efficient, convenient, portable dispatch console.
Sealevel successfully delivered the next generation of the desktop dispatch console and integrated a series of improvements.
The Solution
Sealevel architected a custom COM Express design solution to meet the system requirements and allow for increased scalability and long-term availability. By pairing an off-the-shelf computer module with an application-specific carrier board, Sealevel was able to deliver the precise I/O mix and performance desired – quickly and cost-effectively.
