Description

The 5102 PCI synchronous serial interface adapter provides the PC with a single channel serial interface suitable for many popular communications protocols. This Sync/Async card is an ideal solution for applications including DDS (digital data service), military applications, banking communications, and other specialized applications. Our Software toolkit is included to aid software driver development for other operating systems by providing programming samples and source code to shorten development time.

The 5102S is for use in standard size PCI slots only. If you have a Low Profile PCI slot order the 5102.

Software support, critical for successful synchronous communication development, is provided through Sealevel’s SeaMAC synchronous serial driver. HDLC/SDLC protocols are supported as well as certain configurations of Monosync, Bi-sync, and Raw modes.
