Serial I/O

Sealevel synchronous and asynchronous serial adapters are trusted anywhere reliable, high-speed communications are required – defense, manufacturing, automation, and radar and security systems. Solutions are available in traditional bus-based form factors or in easy-to-use USB and Ethernet protocols.

Robust I/O Solutions

Sealevel offers digital and analog I/O products and data acquisition devices with optically isolated inputs, Reed and Form C relay outputs, TTL interfaces to solid-state relays, and A/D and D/A functionality. Our I/O solutions support configurations from a few inputs to a distributed test and
measurement network.

Embedded Computing

Designed for I/O-intensive applications, our industrial computers, touch panel PCs and COM Express solutions offer unmatched computing power combined with the flexibility and configurability required for radar, security and surveillance systems, requiring no fans or
other moving parts.

Sealevel partners with a customer in the defense industry that designs, manufactures and supports radar systems. They are able to overlay military and commercial air traffic control which allows for the detection of any uncontrolled aircraft. This system was put in place to avoid events similar to the September 11 attacks.

Reliable Performance & Response Time for Gunshot Detection

Shooter Detection Systems has decades of experience in the development and delivery of gunshot detection technology. As a result, their certified gunshot detection systems are being used in schools, public venues, government facilities and international companies.

Shooter Detection Systems’s primary product is the the Guardian Indoor Active Shooter Detection System. The device detects gunshots and alerts authorities immediately, providing key data including specific room location. In an effort to improve the robustness of their Guardian solution in the absences of an IP integration, Shooter Detection Systems asked Sealevel for their recommendation.

911 Dispatch Console Computer

Case Study

A leading supplier of communication systems for first responders contacted Sealevel to redesign the 911 dispatch computer used for secure voice to IP communications. An important goal of the new system was to handle the processing and I/O required by their application without the obsolescence issues inherent with their previous “white box” servers and off-the-shelf PCI bus audio cards. The customer also wanted to combine the functionality of an external audio extender product with the main console computer in a single, compact design that could be mounted easily in an equipment rack or under the surface of a desk.

Digital & Analog I/O

Monitor and control real-world signals with any computer using Sealevel digital and analog I/O products. Select from field-proven optically isolated in puts, Reed and Form C relay outputs, TTL interfaces to solid-state relays, A/D and D/A functionality. Our digital and analog I/O products come in a wide variety of host connections: host via wireless, Ethernet, USB, RS-485 or RS-232.
