Can Windows XP Embedded be configured to withstand sudden resets (power loss or reboot) to minimize the chance of registry or configuration settings getting corrupted?

When employing the Enhanced Write Filter and File Base Write Filter features available with Windows XP Embedded, systems are tolerant of improper shutdowns.
