Product Details

The 7201 PCI serial interface provides two serial ports, each individually configurable for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485. The board is capable of data rates to 460.8K bps and automatically handles RS-485 transmitter enable/disable. The 7201 utilizes 16C850 UARTs that provide 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs and is Universal Bus (3.3V or 5V) compatible. Ordering options allow the choice of UARTs with larger FIFOs and support for custom baud rates.

Sealevel's SeaCOM software makes installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.

Best RS422 PCI Card and Great Service We have had three of these cards working 5 days a week for the last 13 years. Had one fail in 2009 and Sealevel Systems repaired it within a month and at no cost. Great Company and Great Product.

Great interface/Reliable The 7201 is used in many of our labs to interface with various data acquisition and/or control equipment. The reliability and flexibility of these interfaces cannot be beat! Recently placed an order for a handful of 7205e serial interfaces to replace the 7201's but only because the computers we are upgrading to do not have PCI slots!

Robust Flexible and reliable. Good software - we have used this card for years with our products. Never a problem unless lightning strikes.
