Note: Legacy SeaMAC V5 is not recommended for new installs. Download SeaMAC V6 for new applications that are not dependent on the Legacy SeaMAC V5 framework. SeaMAC V5 requires the Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.5 or later to be installed on the target system. For older operating system support, please contact Sealevel Technical Support.

SeaMAC V5 provides a powerful WIN32 interface (CreateFile, ReadFile, WriteFile, etc) for Sealevel synchronous serial products. SeaMAC V5 supports many popular protocols including HDLC/SDLC and various bisync, monosync, and raw (bit-shifter) modes.

Legacy SeaMAC V5 is supported on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of:

  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • Microsoft Windows 8.1
  • Microsoft Windows 7*
